Do you
want to experience the fascination of an ocean cruise to the Caribbean
islands without any dress obligations and many fellow passengers, too?
If so, a holiday on one of the Horn-Linie's snow-white banana boat is
the right choice for you. We promise you unforgettable experiences and
absolute relaxation.
Almost every Saturday we say "anchors away" in Antwerp for one of
our refrigerator ships for a five-week dream holiday to the Caribbean.
The
voyage starts in Antwerp,
continues to Le Havre, Ponta Delgada (not regular call), Pointe A Pitre,
Fort De France, Cartagena, Turbo, Puerto Limon, Dover and finally
returning to Antwerp.
It has
been a good old tradition for us for more than 80 years to take additional
passengers along with us on long voyages. On board there are six comfortable
twin cabins, furnished with a shower, a toilet and an air-conditioning
system and all with an impressive view of the sea. A comfortable lounge
with a library and bar, a fitness room, a sauna, deck chairs and a swimming
pool offer you a wide variety of possibilities for relaxing. Enjoy the
very special experience of the endless ocean under the sky of the trade
winds and spoil yourself in the sun. Anyone who wants to experience
everyday maritime life very closely is always a welcome visitor on the
bridge.
Meals are
prepared fresh every day and then served to you together with the captain
in the officers' mess. To make your stay pleasant, there is a steward
with his service team to take care of you.
During
layover days in ports you have the opportunity to go on interesting
excursions and trips to the beach. Feel excitement of seeing picturesque
fishing villages and the volcano La Souffriere in Guadaloupe, the lively
market in Fort de France or the historical old town of Cartagena. In
Costa Rica/Puerto Limon we definitely recommend a boat trip through
the tropical rain forest.
Since vaccinations
for entry are not prescribed, and for Europeans a valid passport as
a travel document is all that is required, you, too, could be experiencing
this adventure soon! We are looking forward to seeing you! Welcome aboard!
